Sales Representative – Bluffton, S.C.

QEI Security & Technology is currently looking for a sales representative to help residential homeowners select the best security and home technology solutions for their needs. This position includes relationship development, account management and outside sales.

Positions available in the follow areas:

  • Charleston, S.C.
  • Columbia, S.C.
  • Greenville, S.C.
  • Myrtle Beach, S.C.
  • Savannah, Ga.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with professional referral sources within the business and home building communities
  • Represent QEI Security & Technology at trade shows and events as needed
  • Assist in design of home security and automation systems to meet each individual homeowner’s needs
  • Collaborate with operations and technicians to ensure that all documentation is communicated properly and to customer’s needs
  • Effectively use CRM system for clients and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures
  • Qualify, pursue and close leads

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales experience, but we will train the right individual
  • Security or home technology background is a plus
  • Ability to convey technically complex services to clients in an intelligent, yet understandable manner
  • High level of comfort in using computer systems within a sales environment (Microsoft Outlook, Excel required), previous experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • High aptitude for learning new concepts quickly
  • Ability to generate leads via prospecting and networking
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
